Physical Property Color: Pale yellow, clear liquid； Odor: Similar to terpeneless lemon-like odor； Relative Density: 0.885-0.890 (25/25℃)； Refractive Index: 1.4860-1.4900 (20℃)； Acid Value: (by mg KOH/g) ≤ 5； Content: 92%-96% by G.C.； Fusion point: <-10℃； Boiling point: 229 ℃； Flash point: 102℃； Stability: Stable. But readily isomerizes. Incompatible with alkalies, strong oxidizing agents, strong acids. Combustible. Air and light sensitive. Chemical property Isomer: trans-transisomer (geranial) and cis isomer (neral)； Geranial: Relative Density: 0.8898 (20℃); Refractive Index: 1.4891 (20℃);Boiling point: 118-119℃(2666Pa)； Neral: Relative Density: 0.8888 (20℃); Refractive Index: 1.4891 (20℃);  Boiling point: 117-118℃(2666Pa).   Application Citral is mainly used in the field of fragrance and flavor industry,pharmaceutic,  and food industries.
